Last.fm integration without 3rd party app

This one request might be selfish, as I don't see anyone asking for its support.

Here goes nothing:

I would like to request songs to be able to be scrobbled right from within the app with no need to run another 3rd party app such as Pano Scrobbler, ... . 

I understand that devices with Android Go do not allow the Notification Access permission that those 3rd party apps require. I use such a device for when I go to the gym, listening to hours of songs that cannot be scrobbled.

I also understand that it might be impossible to implement as I haven't seen any other music player app with such integration.
