acidservo
Hi! Have used Poweramp for years & love the app. I have a rather large (3399 folders, 19739 songs - all mp3) library on a 512gb SanDisk microSD card on my phone that my library is stored on. Over the past few months I've noticed that after about a day or two Poweramp will boot up with only a portion of the library loaded - usually a chunk of 2000-3000 songs. To fix this I usually have to enable a re-scan (not a full re-scan luckily) and then after a minute or two Poweramp finds everything again, but the frequency of having to re-scan is getting a bit bothersome. I've tried to ensure that there's no Samsung software that could be messing with Poweramp when the app isn't running, and I'm not running on File Access Legacy Mode (although perhaps that could be the fix to the problem?) Details: Build: build-988-bundle-play, Full Version, 64bit Device: Samsung Galaxy A52 5g Android Version: 14, One UI 6.1 Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/28604-poweramp-regularly-forgets-library-folders-content/ Share on other sites
andrewilley
Is it always the same content that disappears (or remains)? Sounds like the background scanner is for some reason intermittently not seeing the whole of your storage. Do you have Auto-scan turned on, and does the situation improve if you turn it off?
