Due to tight money, I can't afford expensive in-ear buds, so I've been using ones that are OK, but one set has low-end boosting which is absolutely not what is needed, because:

I have a "serious hobby" composing, mixing and mastering music in my DAW, Cubase Pro.  And it all sounds great coming through my near-field speakers as I work in it all, but the rubber hits the road on how it sound on other devices.

I don't own a car, so can't test it that way and using things like Sonarworks SoundID with my basic AKG earphones to do virtual tests on various devices isn't a good option for me.

So I rely on Powermap on my Samsung smartphone and earbuds - which is a good way to test the mixes since most people listen to their music on smartphones.

But not satisfied with the earbuds I have - the ones that are OK-ish (somewhat flat response) don't last too long and the ones with bass boost totally mess up my exports from my mixes.  Creating equalizer presets in Poweramp is pretty touch and go too.

So...

Does anyone here use a DAW and use Poweramp - and/or suggest some in-ear buds under USD $100 that are reasonably flat response?

Thanks.
