shadowgang Posted November 20 Share Posted November 20 I got a new streaming device today, the Wiim Ultra which supports Chromecast. Whenever I try to connect music through Poweramp the device doesn't show up, which is quite a bummer since I am now stuck to listen to music through Spotify which works with Spotify Connect and not through Chromecast. Has anyone had this issue as well, and knows a solution? andrewilley Posted November 20 Share Posted November 20 Poweramp (like many apps) relies on Google/Android to notify it of an available CC device, so looks like the Wiim developers need to get that sorted. I now got it to get recognized, so the option to play on the Wiim Ultra is available through a setting in their app. Now I have the issue where my Poweramp app casts for 1 second and then stops casting, even though other apps (like the forementioned) do work without any issues. I don't have a firewall on my phone.
