Juan Esteban
I have a FLAC file in which I modified the cover in Poweramp, but the application does not edit the cover at the maximum resolution possible, so I use an external application to modify the album covers, but the only file that I have edited the cover in Poweramp is not shown at the maximum resolution even if I have edited it separately because as such the file has the cover at the maximum resolution but in the application is still with the same quality that I had applied before. I have already tried to delete and redownload the file but the application detects it as the same. I don't know if I made myself clear lol Device: Moto g52 Android: 13 Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/28586-album-cover-art-problem/ Share on other sites
andrewilley
Poweramp does not have any facility to edit cover artwork within files. However it can download artwork from the internet (or you can choose a local image file manually) which PA will then cache for future reference. So if you have assigned artwork manually for this song in the past, that image will continue to be used until you say otherwise. Just go into menu=>'Album Art' from the player screen for that song, and choose to use 'Embedded Album Art' instead. Juan Esteban
Yes, I know but it is not the same quality as the other files of the same album, my question is that if you can remove the cover of the file from the application so that externally you can edit it correctly. andrewilley
If you have now saved the new correct image into the audio file - for example using a separate tag editor program - then you can use the process I outlined above to ask PA to use that new embedded image instead of its previously cached artwork that you no longer want. If you have not edited the audio file to correct the contained cover art, but you have instead found a different JPG file that you'd prefer to see, use the same method I described above but choose 'Pick from Gallery' to choose the new image, and PA will update its cached copy.
