Thumbs Up/Down on Lock Screen Player

Add thumbs up/down rating icons to lock screen so these can be selected on the lock screen instead of unlocking the screen and opening the app to rate a song.

The five buttons that are allowed by modern releases of Android in the media notification panel (and the associated Android lockscreen panel) can be edited in PA Settings=>Look and Feel=>Notification=>Buttons. The 'Play|Pause', 'Previous' and 'Next' buttons are fixed by Android, but you can assign your own functions to the outer two - including Like, Unlike or Rating.

I'm on build 978-987, I went to Settings=>Look and Feel=>Notification but I don't see a Buttons option.  What am I doing wrong?

What Android version are you using? The unified media panel button changes require Android 13 or later, and the option to edit them in Poweramp was introduced from build 966, a year or so ago.
