Rather than focus on Hi-Res Audio Enhancing Features. Battery Saving, Hi-Res tracks Highlighting by Symbols/icons

1. White/Grey Shade Hi-Res Symbol for CD Quality Audio. "FLAC"

2. Green/Red/Cyan Colour For 24Bit 44.1 or 48kHz.

3. Original Yellow For truly Hi-Res Tracks. 24/32Bit 88.2kHz+

There are no plans for Low resolution audio below 88.2kHz

Why would you want to see a special "Hi-Res" icon for a regular-resolution (CD or DVD quality) recording? I would only expect to see a couple of variants anyway - you show ten different colours for every minor tweaky resolution and no-one will remember which colour meant what. :)

@andrewilley Yes Andre, Not Needed For CD Quality,

But Useful for 24Bit at least. B'Coz 24Bit 44.1-96kHz is Most Common Range Available.

2. There are some DAC's Available in Market Which Comes With small Light indicators. Anything Above 88.2kHz Not Needs to Indicate Separately.

Is it really worth having a special icon to indicate that a regular 44.1kHz or 48kHz file (basically still CD/DVD sampling resolutions) has 24-bit or 32-bit depth? Any indicator icon needs to be instantly obvious and include a reasonable range of possible options,  rather than having lots of tiny variations that become meaningless.

Rather like with video quality, for which the resolution could be 525/625 lines (SD), 1080 lines (HD) or 2160 lines (4K). It could also have HDR encoding (10-bit samples instead of 8-bit) but that doesn't change the underlying resolution. Of course there's frame refresh rate too, which could muddy the waters still further.

@andrewilley Yes Andre, 👍 Agreed

See this pic implementing here is the Better Than Additional Coding.

00:00 | flac | 96kHz | 24 bit                                                        this is better way. No Further Needs.

Too Much Difficulties for one developer 😕.

Or too many other priorities.

Your revised request of adding frequency and bitrate of the source file to the metadata line in Lists (already available in the metadata line on the Player Screen) would be resolved by one of the highest voted Feature Requests (number three at the moment) which is the ability to create a formatting string for the Title, Artist-Album, and meta lines:

So, if implemented, your suggested meta line of "00:00 | flac | 96kHz | 24 bit" could be generated by a formatting string looking something like "%duration% | %filetype% | %filefrequency% | %filebitdepth%". Would require frequency and bitdepth to be stored in the database during a Full Rescan of course, but they're tiny so that shouldn't cause any bloating.

Well creating the customisable fields feature in the first place will be quite of lot of work of course, but once done it will solve a whole load of (in themselves) relatively trivial requests without having to hard-code each one as a separate Settings option.

It might also depreciate several existing Settings options, which would effectively become merged into the formatting strings. So for example "Hide Unknown Album" and "Hide Unknown Artist" would become available per-category by wrapping portions of the local formatting strings in conditional Square Brackets - e.g. "[%artist% - ][%album]" instead of just "%artist% - %album".
