πΎππππππ
I don't know why Poweramp is running in the background after every restart.
andrewilley
That is by design, otherwise it could not play music while you are doing other things, or respond to button presses/etc. The app itself is not active though, only a background monitoring task. πΎππππππ
So can you put a complete restriction to auto start please.
andrewilley
Why? The background process is only a monitoring task, the main app interface is not running. Some Android versions will restore your 'Previous Apps' list after a reboot, is that what you are talking about? Apps in that list can be swiped away whenever you want (or the whole list cleared) and Android manages memory usage so it won'tΒ keeping anything resident if space is needed. Recent Androids also require something to be regarded as the system's current media player app, and Poweramp may be chosen by default. That's up to Android though.Β There are some controls in PA Settings=>Look and Feel=>Notifications which might help you (for example make sure Keep Service is turned off, which it should be by default).
