Volume control

Recommended Posts

Hi to everybody

I'm new in this forum so this is my first topic.

I've a question for who is more expert than me in using Poweramp.

I have some issues when comes the time tO set the right volume for my JBL live pro 2 TWS. it happens that If I increase the volume, some setup, put it down again so in particular noisy environments It is hard to enjoy my music.

Does anyone knows if it depends from some settings that I have to adjust?

Thanks for any help I'll get

Are you asking is PA can adjust based on ambient sound around you at the time of listening? If so then no, that's not possible. Nor does PA have an on-the-fly "normalise" option in order to automatically make quieter sections of music sound louder, and louder passages quieter.

PA does support ReplayGain tags though, which is a method of levelling different tracks so their peak portions are played at the same volume level as each other.

Andrewilley Thanks for the reply.

You helped me to better understand a function that I am trying to learn.

What I am trying tu figure out it out, why when I connect to bluetooth headphones, when I raise the volume up, some setting prevents me from doing so by lowering it again, so I can't hear the music well in environments like the subway or on busy streets. But maybe it might not even depend on PA.

The replay gain setting is disabled precisely to prevent PA from managing the volume for me. In any case, thanks for answering me, I really appreciated it my friend.
