Sujit Yadav
Hello i use iQOO 7 Legend Sound Specifications from GSMarena My device support Hi-Fi Audio chip 24b 192k but I don't know why my USB Port is limiting to 16b48k. I've used USB Earphones and 3.5mm earphones with splitter built in dac. I've used those earphones in Phone with 3.5mm jack and the output is 32b192k 😶 I don't know what I'm going wrong? maxmp
@Sujit Yadav Device reports it uses 16bit/48khz. Not sure what is wrong here for you, but you can try to change sample rates/formats and DVC per the output device and see if it works. Thanks!

I know its reporting 16b/48k but why uts using when my phone can support 24b192k. I've to enable "no DVC for this output"? And any suggestive sample rate/formats? P.S. : hate to break it but even after enabling no dvc and changing sample rates/format no help. Edited October 2 by Sujit Yadav
andrewilley
The ROM/firmware/hardware seems to be converting the Hi-Res output back down to 16-bit/48kHz regardless of what PA is sending. Have you tried other Output methods for that device - for example I use AAudio with my USB DAC rather than the Experimental Hi-Res option as the latter fails on my Samsung Galaxy A54. maxmp
@Sujit Yadav on your screenshot Poweramp runs on 48 khz. You can switch this in the appropriate per-output settings. It usually works up to 192khz with DVC and higher w/o DVC, but some devices may fail to support DVC for Hi-Res sample rates, and that's not recommended anyway nor needed. Sujit Yadav
@maxmp I've already tried it I guess. My Sample rate and format is set to device Specification 24bit 192khz

andrewilley
What any given Output method is capable of is very much dependent on the ROM and hardware in use. I use AAudio at 24-bit / 192kHz on my CX31993-based USB DAC for example. Remember that bit-depth is never going to be a perfect match with the source anyway, as Poweramp uses 32/64 float for all its internal DSP processing, so any output is going to be a downsample from that. But in actual its 16/48 dongle i guess (i show in HiBy) it don't support 24bit. I've a USB C earphones, so I'll try it and say if AAudio bypass 16b/48 or not. How i can use Wired/Aux features? I guess its impossible since Poweramp will recognise all peripheral as USB. Edited October 3 by Sujit Yadav

Correct, if the device doesn't have a headphone jack it won't be able to use the Wired/Aux setting.
