Switch of lyrics source for songs with embedded lyrics

I would like to be able to open my lyrics app or do a online search for lyrics for songs which has embedded lyrics. Reason for this is that Genius as an example quite often also has information about the playing track and explanation of the lyrics.

As of today there are two options for displaying:

1. Short tap lyrics button, pops up the "new" full screen lyrics display.
2. Long tap on lyrics button, pops up the "old" lyrics interface with a non-working "Search" button.

It would be great if the "Search" button in the "old" interface would be fixed in such a way that it would allow the user to Search for lyrics online or launch any installed lyric app.

Agreed, I'm sure there are cases when embedded lyrics are just plain wrong and it would be nice for the three-dots menu option to include the option to open the new Lyrics interface and/or go to the preferred third-party app even if there are already lyrics available.

That has also happened, wrong versions of lyrics embedded and that's quite annoying.

What did I learn yesterday... https://genius.com/Led-zeppelin-whole-lotta-love-lyrics is a good example of viewing lyrics in Genius with comments vs. just plain lyrics... the additional information on the explicit part changed the meaning of the song just a bit. 😘
