Senuti
I've seen the high-definition audio list and all I found were phones. Are there any non-phone players with Android but not google services that work with Poweramp? There are devices that I have found on Amazon with Android 8 and no Google Play which is what I want, what would be the minimum version of Android supporting Poweramp V3 apk? I'm looking for a device with an audio out jack that won't constantly interrupt my music listening, like an iPod but without all the Apple stuff - especially iTunes. maxmp
@Senuti DAP Android devices from FIIO, iBasso usually work fine with Poweramp. Some of those even have fully function Play, but in any case, website Poweramp build is not dependent on Play services.
andrewilley
If your licence was purchased from the Play Store then clearly you will need to have Google services and the Play Store installed on the device in order to validate the licence to your account. This can often be done by sideloading, but there's not a trivial "install-and-go" method, it can take a bit of work. If you made your purchase from the official website then all you need are the details from your confirmation email and an internet connection, and an APK installer file downloaded from the website here. Note: website purchases are for a single device only ; installing on a new device will remove the licenced status of any previous installs. However this is independent of any Play Store purchases so you can still use your Play licence on multiple other devices. Andre
Senuti
Thanks for the recommendations @maxmp. @andrewilley yes I plan on buying the APK from the website. It's worth it to not have the constant interruptions from my phone while listening to music at bedtime. Putting my Samsung into DND also shuts off music output. Even if I finally found a way around this feature/bug, my tablet is the only device I have with an audio jack.

I have DND auto-enabled at night and it does not affect media playback as long as you permit it in the Android 'Do Not Disturb' > 'Alarms and Sounds' panel. Andre That was too easy, I really thought I had searched for an answer on it. Thanks.
