Hello

Im new here and I couldn't find the right place to post this but

I started using Poweramp yesterday, mainly for audiobooks.

I've seen here in the forum that you can add bookmarks, or time stamps? Some of you posted screenshots with a bookmark icon and I am confused because apparently I do not have it :( is it a settings issue?

To use Bookmarks, you need to enable them in the Library view first (the Category is hidden by default). At the top Library Categories view, tap the three-dots menu icon and select List Options. Tick the Categories that you want to see, and untick any that don't interest you and they won't be shown next time you open the library.

However I'm not sure if that's what you actually need here. Are you trying to save the playback position of chapters that you are part-way through? If so, you can enable 'Per-Track Progress' memory in Settings=>Library, and even configure it to only activate on tracks that are over a certain length if you want to. There is a similar option for each folder in its List Options menu (which I use for my podcast folders) but see if the global setting works for you first.

Thank you  so much for your answer. Yes that is what I am trying to do! I was hoping I would be able to save my position on numerous books and I'm not sure if the 'per-track progress' memory can achieve that. Can it?

@Violein Yes, that's exactly what it's designed to do. If you play your books from individual folders it can remember both the last track that was played in that folder, and also the position within the track so you can resume where you left off.

First, within any folder where you want this action to apply, tap the three-dots menu button, select List Options, and enable the memory features for 'List Position' AND 'Per Track Progress'.

Then, whenever you are later viewing that folder's contents, just tap the 'Play' icon in the header area and playback will resume exactly where you last left off.
