Casting to TV stops playback when Screensaver turns on

When I cast tocast to Sony XBR-55X900h,using Chromecast within Poweramp it plays fine and perfectly normal. However as soon as the Screensaver for the TV turns on the cast stops and cuts out intermittently. And it will keep doing that playing a little, go no sound, then do it again. It will only play normal when the Screensaver is off.

I've casted ALOT for a long time before this and had no issues until recently in the last few months. I don't remember when the last Google store update even was for Poweramp so I don't really have an exact time frame for it.

I've originally had this issue with my pixel 8 pro. And now with my Pixel 9 pro XL as well.

I have tried factory resetting the TV thinking the Google TV implementation was acting odd but it didn't help even at the basic factory settings. I've made sure to try all the different options in Poweramp to stop audio focus loss, making the background battery use to unrestricted  and the wake lock option. All those have done nothing.

I tried other music players. Hifi cast / Gone Mad Music player / Symfonium / Pulsar and many others here in the last few days. All those Chromecast options those other players have work perfectly fine even with the Screensaver. They don't seem to be doing anything different from Poweramp (that I can tell or see). So any ideas or maybe it's a bug somewhere in Poweramp? I really don't want to switch cause I love the UI and menus for Poweramp and all these others are just meh to me.
