Hello,

I have just bought a iBasso DC04 Pro USB DAC and I have some issues with the sample rate at which the audio is played. There are certain sample rates that cannot be used, despite being supported by the device.

To be more specific 44Khz, 88 Khz, 176.4 Khz and 352.8 Khz. When they are selected in the DAC configuration within the Hi-Res Output or AAudio Output, they are not used, because in the "Using:" section appears some higher sample rate than the one selected. If I force the frequency to 44Khz it actually uses 48 Khz, the same happens with 88Khz and 176Khz, that in practice sets the device to 192 Khz, and 352.8 Khz that sets it to 384Khz.

Why is this happening if all these sample rates are supported by the device? I can use them when I connect the DAC in a computer.

The characteristics of my system are:

  • Poweramp 976
  • Samsung A52 5G
  • Android 14
  • Steps to reproduce:
    • Connect the DAC USB
    • Play a 44Khz FLAC song
    • Go to Audio -> Output -> Hi-Res Output -> USB DAC (enable it) -> configuration
    • Select Sample Rate 44Khz
    • Return and check the "Using:" label that shows 48Khz (or more if the selected sample rate is 88Khz, 176Khz or 352.8 Khz)
