VaiMalaviya1233
Hi there, I want to share some radio stream url backupfile. backup file contains 23 working streams, backup file is created on beta version of Poweramp build-984 so I am not sure of whether it will work on older versions. most of the stream urls are obtained from internet where it was shared however WBAP is captured from using 1DMP app, but it works :). so, anyone wondering to get their radio stream url then 1dmp would be good app to start with as it contains media sniffer, also I had question for the senior members of this forum (experienced) if I want to create Poweramp plugin that provides stream url would this subsection of powerampAPI would be good place to start with? powerampapi/poweramp_provider_example at master powerampapi (github.com) 23_radio_streams.poweramp-backup
andrewilley
To export your existing streams, add them to a playlist (if they are not already) and export that to a physical file. They will be saved as text in an M3U(8) file. Andre
6b6561
And you can select all 23 stations in one go, so no need to do them one by one.
VaiMalaviya1233
hmm. I wanted to share radio stream URLs since there is almost nonexistent on forum so just wanted to share and wanted to know that if api shared by max on GitHub if I could build my custom app that provides stream URL instead of adding them by backup or by adding one by one since there is m3u8 file containing url under poweramp_provider_example so I assume that is used for to provide stream plugins? powerampapi/poweramp_provider_example/src/main/assets/streams-playlist.m3u8 at master · maxmpz/powerampapi (github.com). also have another question I exported playlist after adding streams to playlist -> long click -> click on share. it shows me warning about max number of sent files is 600, does that mean if I add local music file in playlist then the exported playlist file would include that local music file tracks that were added in playlist or would it just include only name and other metadata? Thanks, Andre, for showing me correct way to export those streams shared-poweramp-streams.m3u8 Edited August 29 by VaiMalaviya1233
andrewilley
You are probably trying to export/share the contents of a large list, which will try to copy all of the audio files from that list, and the max is 600 (and practically that is far too many anyway). VaiMalaviya1233
OO Thanks you for letting me know I was just wondering about that not trying to export that many audio files that would be too detrimental for my device storage(sorry for confusion) also if you know about this On 8/29/2024 at 9:05 AM, VaiMalaviya1233 said: wanted to know that if api shared by max on GitHub if I could build my custom app that provides stream URL instead of adding them by backup or by adding one by one since there is m3u8 file containing url under poweramp_provider_example so I assume that is used for to provide stream plugins?
