_lando
Hi there. I have a problem with the audio that's ruining my experience listening to songs. Every time I reproduce a song I can't hear the beginning. I checked if the fade in/out options were enabled and no, they aren't. I can hear the problem specially with the song Buttercup by Jack Stauber, where the first notes of the electric guitar are not reproduced. It happens with all the songs that have silence at the beginning. It cutoffs a little piece of the song when it starts. That didn't happen on my old phone and it doesn't happen in my friends' phones either. Please help 🙏, it's really annoying to not hear the beginning as it used to be
andrewilley
There is a fractional fadein on starting to avoid a click on commencing playing, but that should not cut off a significant part of the opening of the song. What happens if you wind back to the start again by long-pressing on the elapsed-time counter? Andre
_lando
I tried that. Some songs sound as they should when winding back, but Buttercup specifically doesn't. You can't get to hear the guitar since the beginning. Isn't there any way to stop that fadein? I mean, having to wind back every time to hear the song again is kind of upsetting since everyone wants the app to work automatically... Also another example could be the song "Red Velvet (black sun empire vip)" where it says at the start "There's something here", but you only hear "something here" instead of the whole thing
andrewilley
Any intro fade should be milliseconds, not whole words. And the 'Fade on Play/Pause/Stop' option is definitely off? Andre
_lando
They are definitely off. Something interesting is that it only happens with my earphones (wire earphones), but if they are not connected you can hear everything perfectly. All my songs are mp3 if that's useful at all. What is device and OS version are you using? It sounds like some kind of optimization is going on.
