kec Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 Hello!I'm quite a noob when it comes to programming or sound engineering, but I have a question I would like someone to explain to me as simple as possible. It just blows my mind how Poweramp dominates other music players on the market with its sound quality so I was wondering how is it possible. I've tried dozen players, both on headphones and speakers, and none of them has the sound quite as rich and colorful, so to say. I know a lot of quality is lost in compression of mp3 and whatnot, but exactly the same file in Poweramp just sounds million times better than in other players.Could somebody (preferably the developer, hehe) discover the secret in layman's terms?Thanks for the answer in advance! mattg3 Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 I agree and have tried everything from player pro to winamp to cubed and a pile in the middle.The only thing i would like to see changed is the bass and volume dials be set in the middle so we can subtract as well as add treble and bass.Im sensitive to brightness and at times treble is pretty crisp.
