athegn
I have a new Galaxy tablet, Tab 9 FE, and a new larger micro SD card. I copied all the data from the original 128GB card to the new 400GB card. I purchased the unlocker for Poweramp some years ago. I opened Poweamp on the new machine and got the welcome message thanking me me for my purchase, so the Smartswitch app transferred that across successfully. But Poweramp says it cannot use the new SD card folder. I guess it is something to do with the ID code on this new card being different to the old ID. How can I get the new card's ID recognised? Any advise please? Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/28099-new-sd-card-not-recognised/ Share on other sites
andrewilley
SmartSwitch may have copied data over from your old setup, which will have used a different path to the music folders. Go into PA Settings=>Library=>Music Folders and clear any existing entries from there (so you have zero files and folders) and then go back in again and grant access permission for your new device's audio folder on the SD Card. Note: this must be a folder (or folders), don't try to grant access to the root level of the card. If you have any ratings, internal playlists, etc that you want to retain I'd suggest making a full settings backup first using PA Settings=>Export Settings/Data which you can selectively restore later. KingCoco
I wonder if this is the issue I'm having as well and I wonder if it's the same for a hard disc drive that I have in an enclosure Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/28099-new-sd-card-not-recognised/#findComment-130799 Share on other sites
