aiagm
Switched over from Blackplayer for my Android car stereo. Whenever I turn my car on (the head unit doesn't power off for fast bootup) the music will begin playing but muted until I change the volume. I can still hear the play/pause button press sound and play music off another app during the muted Poweramp playback. andrewilley
Is the output muted or just zero volume? i.e. when you press the volume button, does it come back to normal level immediately or does it start at zero and need turning up from there? I assume you have Poweramp installed on the headunit itself, rather than playing from your phone via Bluetooth or Android Auto. aiagm
Yes, running off head unit. The volume will be where I last left it at. Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/28064-audio-muted-when-turning-car-back-on/#findComment-130502 Share on other sites
andrewilley
Try resetting the Settings=>Audio=>Output menu to defaults, or use a different output method (AAudio, AudioTrack, etc) . Also try with DVC enabled or disabled and see if that makes a difference. aiagm
Switching between audio outs didn't help nor dvc. I noticed it also happens when pausing and then opening settings panel.
