Reyn 桐生
I've encountered some bugs when using xHE-AAC I wonder if it's a beta thing or I'm the only one who has that kind of problem. -The track stops randomly in some occasions and goes to the next track. -Bookmarks don't work -Synchronized lyrics don't work as they should either. -Skipping to a specific minute and second does not work correctly either. -Gapless doesn't work either -The track takes 3 to 4 seconds to move to the next track. -Count As Played does not work either Poweramp build 981 Samsung A14 4G Exynos Android

I'd suggest avoiding using it for the time being, until a new build of Poweramp is released with the latest version of FFmpeg embedded. andrewilley
As an update to that, it should currently be supported in the latest beta builds (such as 981) via Android's system codecs, assuming they work correctly: Andre
Reyn 桐生
I think it's great that FFMPEG finally includes decoders for USAC, many unsupported devices will be able to enjoy this codec. About the other thing, I haven't seen anyone reporting bugs so I want to assume that the problem comes from my device's decode

Poweramp doesn't "phone home" with any anonymous stats, but if it did I'd love to see the percentages of file formats being used in the wild. Reyn 桐生
Of course there are not really many people working with the USAC codec, many use the 2 classic ones (Flac or MP3) but honestly I decided to switch to the USAC codec for 3 reasons Audio quality, spatial audio and dynamic range. Reyn 桐生
Update: The bugs only occur with the official encoder version while none of these bugs occur with the Exhale encoder.
