Ratings not showing by default ? How to display them ?

Hello, I'm new to Poweramp.

So far I like the UI very much, yet I cannot find how to display the song ratings (1-5 stars).

I have seen some screenshots where these are visible but I have no idea if this is an option hidden somewhere, a specific theme, an outdated feature that disappeared...

Could you please help ?

Settings=>Look and Feel=>Player Screen=>Rating Type.

Any ratings you create are internal to Poweramp by the way, they are not read from or written back to audio files.

Oh no !

I thought it would be able to read them from my audio files (I made them all with the rating columns in the tags using Foobar on my PC)

I tried the feature and it is very pleasant to use once activated.

If there were any chance it could be linked with the tag, I believe that would be perfect (if there is a wishlist somewhere 😁)

You can use an external app such as Music Playlist Manager to import ratings (for example from MP3 POPM tags) from audio files into Poweramp's music database, but it's a one-shot process and would need to be repeated any time you add more files. I believe it can also write ratings from Poweramp's database back to files.

There is an existing Feature Request to provide this functionality natively within Poweramp, which you can vote for once your account is at least two days old:
