Luke Gary
I use power amp extensively to check mixes on music that I recorded and am mixing, or mixes that I am doing for other people on the side during the mastering process. It would be AMAZING to be able to export the current tone and eq settings of the app to an impulse response file in wav format so I can just drop in the sound that I have dialed in. I can get some pretty great sounds from the app and I'd love to be able to just export the IR and bring it into my DAW. Could you just send a dirac delta or sweep signal internally through all of the audio fx and calculate the IR so it can be loaded into any convolver? Quote Translate Revert translation? maxmp
@Luke Gary thanks for the request. It's possible, though it has very narrow and specific usage. Some exporting capabilities do exist now, the next steps in this regard would be supporting Equalizer APO format (used by AutoEQ) for exporting - this one is widely supported.
