EQ isn't working on Youtube Music again

I didn't get to enjoy  music on YT Music while washing the car because the EQ wasnt' working.   had no bass and just mostly mids.   really sucks with a good pair of headphones.    It shows it's enabled but last seen time is 0.   I turned it off and on.   even closed out both apps .  still can't get YT Music to work on the EQ.   last time it happened it just started working as mysterious as it quit.   I'm having the same problem with my GF's phone.   i can't listen to it though because it's connected to her hearing aids.    but i noticed the spectrum analyzer wasnt' working on it either.

Your Equalizer build? You Tube Music version? Have you tried to reboot phone once? Does it show YouTube Music as active player?

I've just checked build-973 with YTM version 6.14.50 and it works fine, no bugs from YTM introduced in this version.

I have build 963.   well today it connects find to the bluetooth soundbar and now to the same headphones.  the spectrum analyzer shows it's working too.   I didn't reboot.   I want to add however that sometimes in the last year or so when the notifications go off sometimes it stops the EQ from working with YT Music so i have to bring PA EQ back up and turn it back on.   I don't know if that is a bug.

did you see my last post?   Do you know why it would quit working then start working again?  and I was also wondering about why the EQ cuts out sometimes when i get notifications and i have to bring the app back up to get it to work again.

Hi Guys, I couldn’t enjoy music on YT Music while washing the car because the EQ wasn’t working—there was no bass, just mostly mids. It’s frustrating, especially with a good pair of headphones. The EQ shows it's enabled, but the last seen time is 0. I tried turning it off and on and closing both apps, but YT Music still doesn’t work with the EQ. The last time it happened, it started working again on its own. I’m experiencing the same issue with my girlfriend’s phone, though I can’t listen to it because it’s connected to her hearing aids. I also noticed that the spectrum analyzer isn’t working on her phone either.

@Reyansh23 unfortunately no such issue can be reproduced with the currently available YTM + Equalizer builds 985-987.

allow dumps and notification listener permission, and then enable player tracking.
