failed:Hi-Res output

My new pad can't use hires output.I have tried wired and USB DAC,both can't work with Hi-Res output.I also have tried version 957,but it doesn't work.

Try with Wired headset with DVC on or off and see if that makes a difference.

@andrewilley As a reference,my smartphone honor magic 5 can use hires output.the different of v8pro and magic5 is the os and chipset,the v8pro is dimensity 8100 with magicos 7.0(Android 12),and the magic5 is snapdragon 8 gen 2 with magicos 7.1(Android 13).this is the log from my phone:

There are some issues with Huawei based ROMs and high-res/DVC, might be worth having a look at this thread. Max may have disabled it for these situations?

Obviously you are not trying to use Bluetooth here, but if you do then to use DVC you also need to have the 'Absolute Volume for BT' feature disabled in Android Developer Options.

Can you get higher sampling rates from other output methods on your device? e.g. AAudio.

@andrewilley AAudio can output 192kHz highest through USB DAC,but can't use 44.1kHz.

@akiki your device doesn't seem to support Hi-Res - either at all or the way Poweramp engages it. You can try few steps, such as disabling DVC, AAudio output, or AudioTrack output and try to set Sample Rate/Sample Format parameters, but again, if devices doesn't support Hi-Res it won't help. Thanks!
