Playing track highlight color vs. background color

How are the colors for a playing track and the background behind a list of tracks determined? I have found that some color combinations the app uses have very little contrast and make it hard to see which track is playing. Here is an example where there is sufficient contrast:

 

Here is an example where I would like to have more contrast between the highlighting and the background:

Is it possible to change this?

It is skinable, but the default Skins don't provide an option to change it. You can set it to whatever you like in (for example) YAPS.
