Turning off EQ completely

Hello, I got a new bluetooth device and connected it to my phone.

Now I wanted to turn off the equalizer I had setup for an older device since this one I want to try without any EQ.

Since I still see the old bands, how do I turn off the EQ for the new device? I clicked the "EQU" button and the bands turned dark, so this way I have already turned it off? Can anyone confirm it?

After doing this, the preamp slider is still modifiable and is still with the value from the old device. So I have to put the slider to 0 to keep it flat?

@Shaun Gagnier If you turn 'Equ' option off it will disable the banded frequency sliders, but not other aspects of the app. Just turn the whole thing off with the switch at the top of the Settings=>Equalizer page.
