aylimitless
Hello, I use Poweramp Equaliser for my Audiomack and MX Player, while I use the Poweramp Music player to play my offline songs. Songs sound so great in Poweramp Music Player, but sounds so bassy and unclear when I use other players even with PA Eq. I have given it the adb permissions, is there something I'm still missing, can I get the same sounds as well? I've exported the PA. MP settings to PA. EQ. but I'm still getting the same low quality sounds.
maxmp
@aylimitless do you mean you use same presets and it sounds more bassy in Equalizer app? Poweramp player is capable of little more bass, actually, but for the moderate values equalization (on default Settings / Equalizer values) will be almost the same. Still Equalizer app may have, for example, active Compressor which may modify sound a lot, please check that's disabled. Also, DVC mode should be enabled and should work in Equalizer to get clear non-distorted hi-gain bass bands/tone.
aylimitless
Sorry I didn't get back to you, I disabled compressor and it sounded alright, thanks. I had to keep DVC disabled because it made my volume level very low. Thanks a lot. Edited February 9, 2023 by aylimitless Typing errors
maxmp
@aylimitless if volume is low with DVC, this probably means absolute volume is enabled and you use Bluetooth. Equalizer works OK in this mode too, but you can't get too much bass tone and lower end bands as no enough dynamic range is available (bluetooth runs on 100% volume all the time internally).
