Does Poweramp currently support bilingual lyrics display?

As shown in the title, if bilingual lyrics are supported, what format of lyrics file content is required?

I know that it only needs to be bilingual in the same document. It has been confirmed that Poweramp has done a good job.

Yes, PA's new synchronised lyrics feature does support multiple languages - or, more technically, it supports multiple possible entries for the same timecodes, which could include subtitles or descriptive notes too.

But all of the intended content must be included in the same file. So for example if you have a lyrics file with 30 lines in French followed by the same 30 lines translated into English, the content will be re-arranged for display so both the French and the English wording gets highlighted at the same time at the appropriate moment during the song's playback.

@jeffry_29 Correct. Poweramp will highlight any lyric lines that have exactly the same timecode as one block. They don't have to be adjacent in the source file though, as PA will sort them into the correct playback sequence based on the timecodes.

It seems a common method to put all of the original language lyrics in one block first, and then have a second block further down the file with the translated versions. For example this twin Chinese language variant that was posted during the debugging stages, where you can see the same timecodes appear in two different blocks of lyrics:

@andrewilley ah ok no neceriamente tiene que ir frase por frase el idioma original y traducción. Puedo poner primero toda la canción en el idioma original, luego establecer los tiempos y al final poner toda la canción en la traducción que desee y establecer los mismos tiempos. Esta bien porque esto haría un poco más rápida la edición de las letras lrc a comparación de ir frase por frase. Gracias

@jeffry_29 Exactly. You could probably just copy'n'paste the whole original language text a second time, later in the file, and remove all the extra words (keeping just the second set of timecodes) and insert the new words.
