MrBertie
Since my device (Samsung Galaxy A71) upgraded to Android 13 last week, I have noticed that the "Tone" button keeps disabling itself. I have to check each time after switching output device or before playing music and enable it. Is this normal?
maxmp
@MrBertie the equ/tone controls could be disabled by per-output (e.g. speaker) No Equ/tone option. If it’s just the tone which is disabled, then it’s probably stored in the preset assigned to the device (or song).
MrBertie
Should I just reset the presets?
MrBertie
I just tried resetting the presets but the problem persists. If I switch away from the app and switch back immediately the Tone remains active, but if I switch back after about 5 seconds or more I can watch the Tone button disable itself. andrewilley
Does this happen during playback of a single song? PA can indeed assign user-defined EQ presets to specific songs, albums, folders, output devices, etc - but that should not change during payback of one song, only when a song or output device changes. MrBertie
No, it has never happens during playback, only when I switch away to a different app and then come back to PowerApp.
Solution MrBertie Posted December 31, 2022 Author Solution Share Posted December 31, 2022 Sincere apologies, turns out that I had inadvertently turned on the "No Equ/Tone", under Audio>Output>Hi-Res Output>Bluetooth>Settings.
