neok182
On most android apps the nav and status bars are content aware so when they see dark content they turn white but when they see light behind them they turn dark. You can see this in many apps but sadly Poweramp does not support this feature so when you use a skin with transparent status/nav the nav bar works just fine but the statusbar stays white and disappears. This can be overcome with skin settings adding a gradient to the back but it would be amazing if Poweramp can add support for the content aware statusbar so they can work properly like other apps. ihaspei
for the moment you could decrease the background intensity on settings/background so the status bar is a bit more visible on white backgrounds. i got that option on 40% (and edit some other options on that page). here some screenshots
andrewilley
To be honest, the same applies to any elements where a skin setting does not have a solid or heavily translucent background. Adaptive colours for icons and labels generally would be a nice idea. Or stronger drop shadows. Andre
neok182
@ihaspei Yeah for now I've turned on the shadow setting on the skin I'm using and that works well enough but figured it was worth making a post in the hopes that full content aware statusbar support could be added at some point.
