andrewilley Posted October 16, 2022 Share Posted October 16, 2022 Yes, there is a fair-user limit as to how many activations you can make using the same Google account. Most people will never even close close to it, but occasionally users who install/test new third-party ROMs and thus reset/reinstall very regularly can reach it. If that happens for genuine reasons though, you can email Support to explain what happened and get the limit reset again. You should download and activate your Play Store purchase (i.e. download the license purchase) on a Play Store download first, and allow it to be validated. But after that you can over-install update -uni APKs from the website as often as you like. There is no fair-use limit on in-place updates by the way, only on new clean installs.
