jrmpt
Hi all, This function worked great with my Moto G6 (Android 9). Yesterday I upgraded to a Samsung A52S, and this function stopped working. Any workaround? Thanks. (Mod, please move this topic to the right thread, thanks.) Bencherished
You need a PC to run the ADB, Make sure the developers option is enabled on your phone, and also USB debugging turned on. On Your, plug your phone with the USB cable, run the adb command. - pm grant com.maxmpz.audioplayer android.permission.SET_VOLUME_KEY_LONG_PRESS_LISTENER If you did it right, you will see success on the adb window. andrewilley
Also some versions of Android 12 do not support this feature (it got embroiled in Google's legal case with Sonos, although it was not actually this feature that should have been removed), I'm not sure whether it is now back again and for which releases of Android though. code
The same on Sony Xperia devices. I guess it could be a safety feature to avoid accidental key press while keeping the device into a pocket. andrewilley
Actually, I think it may have just been custom volume stepping levels that were affected in Android 12, although I originally thought long-press got caught up in the same issue: Andre Quote Translate Revert translation?
