Imported playlists to new phone - All songs now show thumbs up

I recently imported playlists + ratings to my new phone (Ultra 22).  Now every track in my collection shows a thumbs up. I did a Full Rescan and same problem.

Is there a way to reset these likes / dislikes so I can just start over? I did a backup of the playlists/rating so maybe their still a way to fix this? The files were on an SD card and now they are internal (on the new phone). Perhaps this caused the problem.

Did you bring the ratings back in via a master exported playlist rather than using the Export/Import Settings/Data feature? Exported playlists should contain lines of the format:

#EXT-X-RATING: n

where n is the saved rating value between 1 and 5 stars (or 0 for no rating). If you use the Thumb display system, 1 star would be shown as a thumb-down, while 5-stars would be a thumb-up. The values are still kept as proper stars ratings internally, thumbs is just an alternate display option.

I believe I chose the export feature and import feature. The playlists are fine. Its all the songs NOT on the playlists which all have a thumbs up for some reason. Is there a method you can think to get these all back to zero or no rating. Thanks for your help.

Thanks. I want to zero them out in my library..not in playlists. So with this app, I could create a playlist with every track in library...zero them out...will they then appear zeroed out in library?

Thanks . I got the app. I clicked "TAGS and RATINGS" === "RESET all Poweramp ratings. I don't see any changes as of yet. I have 24,000 songs, so maybe it will take a long time? Full rescan?

@Aaron Caldwell it will just work through all tracks and set the ratings to zero. You can check progress in Criteria, Ratings. This shows a breakdown of all of  your ratings.

It seems to have stopped. I hit refresh and then I do the command to reset all songs to zero. Do I need to check the box?

@Aaron Caldwell no, this screen should show changes each time you load it. The process runs in the background. Once you set it going, just leave it for a while,it will work through your music collection

Still no change. It appears to have changed all songs beginning A-G. There is a notification from Music Playlist Manager that reads "update process"

Update. The music playlist manager worked at reseting all of my ratings. Very useful app that did what I needed and tech support was great. I started to apply thumbs up to all my songs on playlists again and eventually all songs in my entire collection have a thumbs up again. Weird glitch that myself and a few others have experienced.

@Aaron Caldwell Have you been doing further importing of playlists, or do all songs just suddenly change to Thumbs Up? What is the real saved rating value if you set PA to using normal 0-5 stars rather than thumbs?
