Builds 941-942:

  • fixed/improved hi-res support for Pixel devices @ Android 13
    • Hi-Res output and AAOutput improved
    • some Pixels (for example, 6) have limited hi-res support - only 96kHz or some other fixed sample rate may be supported
  • relaxed AAudio requirements on Pixels @ Android 11/12/13
Note: AAudio can't detect actual output rate, so prefer Hi-Res output
  • improved actual output sample rate/format detection on Android 12/13 devices
This doesn't work for AAudio output - user selected values are always shown for it
  • fixes/improvements for Android 13
Note: while Legacy File Access still works on Android 13, it will be disabled in the next Poweramp builds

@░▒▓█ クリス █▓▒░ in your case, SSC codec runs at 24 bit 48 khz, so setting hi-res to 96khz makes little sense (double resampling, double battery consumption). The best approach here is to match Hi-Res output bits and sample rate to the codec parameters.

@maxmpyes, I tried that but if I set it to 48khz it gets set automatically to 16bit and I can't change it. What do you recommend in this case? 48khz/16bit or 96khz/24bit?

How can I restore my purchase made through Google play in 2013 😭😭🙈 As soon as I bought the new phone I lost my access to the application although it is supposed to work on different devices; however, my old phone has died completely so I can only use Poweramp on one device - my new phone.. I've tried to upgrade to new builds, still appears that the "trial period has inspired" and no way to confirm my purchase since the Poweramp unlocker would not download from Google play.. Max could you please help!! I've used Poweramp daily through these 9 years, I like it very much and I would hate to have to change it to another application..
