andrewilley
Did this only start happening after you installed a beta-test version of Android 13? Meguro
@andrewilley well I just give the trial version a run recently, so I don't know about that. However I do have a Pixel 3 running on Android 12, so I installed PA on it too. I don't know if it was a difference between hardware or something, but the Pixel 3 doesn't seem to support Hi-Fi output, instead of that it had OpenSL ES Hi-Res, so yeah. andrewilley
Different devices support Hi-Res in different ways. That Pixel device seems to provide it as an OpenSL ES High-Res option. Does the same job though. The crash you refer to seems to be Android 13 related though, which I'm sure Max will look into for fixing before that OS is publicly released. Solution Meguro Posted August 27, 2022 Author Solution Share Posted August 27, 2022 Seems like the problem was fixed with build 942 on Android 13. I can turn on Hi-Res output without crashing now.
