Skip silence DSP

Hi there.

I use Foobar2000 on my desktop and Poweramp on my Google Pixel 4a.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Poweramp on my mobile device. However, there's this single feature that both desktop and mobile Foobar2000 have: Skip Silence DSP.

This setting allows you to skip the beginning silence (if any), in-song and at the end of a track. Of course, the noise floor before activating and minimum time it has been silent before activating should be settings if one wants to enable the feature.

Thank you for considering.

This used to be a feature in Poweramp v2, I'm not sure why it didn't make it into v3 during the updating process. I would like to see it return too, I've got quite a few tracks with long lead-out periods of silence.

Thanks for the request. I would add that there is set of DSP plugins/filters which are planned for Poweramp. This is planned for the iteration past the next big one (the LRC one). The planned DSP to be added or improved:

- improved tempo + pitch support
- dynamic gain control and (offline) replay gain scanner
- crossfeed
- (added now) silence removal
