However as @MotleyG has pointed out, the actual music file on your phone is in FLAC format, not WAVE. So the CUE file is referring to a file named "Wormed - Planisphaerium.wav", but that file isn't present on your device as it has been converted to "Wormed - Planisphaerium.flac", so it will fail at that point. If you edit the CUE file in your text editor to point to the correct filename, it should work. One other potential issue I can see is that the information for each individual track has the PERFORMER tag (i.e. Track Artist) set as "01", "02", "03", "04", etc. This is probably not how you intended to see the Artist names in Poweramp, so either delete those erroneous lines or just change them to the same as the Album Artist, "Planisphaerium". Andre Ok that makes sense, so what i did was edit some of those lines and did a full rescan. That was correct, it did show the artist as 01, 02 etc but after editing it corrected them. But here's an example of one of those albums being played as a single track. It's missing the cue file and idk why that is, but I'm guessing that is the culprit? andrewilley
If you have a large 35-minute audio file called "Abiotic - Casuistry.flac" with no corresponding CUE file in the same directory, PA will simply show it as one large playable item, like any other audio file it encounters. If there were any information tags inside the FLAC file, you'd see them displayed in the Albums/Artists/etc lists, but otherwise all PA can do is simply show you the filename. (In fact it does seem to have Year and Genre embedded tags, but nothing else). I'm afraid finding your runaway CUE file is something we can't really help with remotely though... Are they perhaps still in your original music ripping folders on your PC? Andre

I will be able to check it Wednesday when I return home. Thanks for the help with the main reason! Seems to be the problem with these bunch right here , haven't checked all but any I check at random seem to be missing the cue file 🙄😭
andrewilley
Very strange that some of the CUE files didn't copy over with your other stuff. And the ones with the misquoted filename were never going to work. Could they still be on your original Note 20's SD Card maybe? Euronymous
Yeah I have no idea why that happened but I will definitely check my sd card, although I'm glad what I've learned here from talking to you so this will be good info for future reference. andrewilley
CUE files are not all that complex when you look into them, but without an understanding what they are meant to do and how, there can be a whole heap of seemingly-unrelated problems that are actually caused by either unnecessary or badly-formatted CUE files. Or in your case, missing ones. Andre

Hopefully you do have these still, that would make things much easier to update and refresh. Once you have these, Poweramp should be back to what you were used to.
