Add option to display artist name above song title

I propose to implement the option "Artist name on top" so that the artist name is displayed above the song title (I would like to be able to swap the title and artist).

It is very important for me. I always focus on the name of artist. Seeing artist name on the top and track title on the bottom is a good option.

Yes, that's what was being suggested. The hope is that there will be a master global option which can be overridden for specific Category song lists using List Options if you wish. So in your case you could set the top line to something like just "%artist%" and, if you don't want the album title shown and are happy to just look at the cover art, the bottom line could be "%title%" or maybe "%track% %title%". Or anything else you want basically.

User-customisation of the overall Title and Artist-Album lines, plus the small metadata line provided in lists, is quite high up the new Feature Voting process (it's number three at the moment, behind adding a 'Now Playing' list and customisation of the row of feature buttons on the Player Screen) but anyone following this thread can add their votes here to express their interest:

Personally, I think those top three voted items, along with a few slightly smaller options from further down the list, would make a perfect first 'themed' Add-on Bundle - offering a series of new features to control the look and feel of the Player Screen Interface.

• Customise Title/Artist-Album/etc text
• Customise the Player Screen buttons
• As part of the above button options, include a button option to go to a simple flat 'Now Playing' list (which is the top ranked request)
• Visual indicator icon when playing High-Res content
• Metadata line choice to show currently-playing Category - e.g. "Playlist: <playlist title>" or "Genre: <current genre", etc.
• A-B Repeat

I definitely feel that overall themes for each of the planned 'Add On' Bundles are the best way forward - and extra items which fit each theme could be added to them over time, so could start with just a couple of items.
