GeilerHeinz
After updating to build 922 on a Lenovo TB-8705F (Android 10) the audio setting icon (3 vertical bars) is a lot larger compared to the other icons. The same happened to the Equalizer icon on the audio setting screen. Regards EDIT: The gear wheel icon in the cast menu is affected too. GeilerHeinz
Apropos cast menu: every now and then no streaming devices are shown. After opening Google Home App and switching back to PA the streaming devices are listed again. Regards
maxmp
@GeilerHeinz Chromecast functionality hasn’t been changed. Also I can’t reproduce it on my devices, but my chromecast devices are always updated to the latest firmwares.
GeilerHeinz
The behaviour of the cast menu already started with any of the previous builds. Regards
yrek150
After that update, and on the previous versions (since 918 I think) the app crashes randomly. Since 921 it crashes more often than on previous builds. It usualy crashes on second track I played in music playback session. For example - I use bt headset, it connects to the phone, and PA starts playing music, and on the beginning of the second track, PA just closes. I have to restart it manually form the app drawer, and then it plays music normally without any crash. It always works like this scenario. I use Xiaomi mi 9T Pro with miui 12.5 based on android 11 Edited January 20 by yrek150
GeilerHeinz
On a Samsung Galaxy A52 (Android 12) after PA restart language is always reset to the language of the operating system (in my case German). If I navigate to Einstellungen (settings)>Erscheinungsbild (look and feel) curiously Sprache (language) is set to English. If I choose English again PA switches the language, but after a restart PA is set to German. Regards
maxmp
@yrek150 this is build 922 topic. Crashes are fixed as reported by users (at least it requires video + user preferences backup + full report log if possible).
djdarko
I just got a new phone and noticed an issue with in folder artwork. If the image is an odd dimension, like 1081x1081 the image won't render clearly/correctly. Is this a known issue, or a recent change? maxmp
@djdarko what is wrong with the image? Can you send it (the original one, from your folder) for tests? Thanks!

It renders very blurry. Note: I have "Increase Resolution" enabled in the Album Art options. Here are two examples to test, 2979x2979 and 1425x1425 https://i.ibb.co/4V0Zrz0/Moby-Hotel-cover.jpg https://i.ibb.co/gD70zpD/Tom-Petty-Tom-Petty-The-Heartbreakers-cover.jpg Edited January 21 by djdarko
maxmp
@djdarko I can see noticeable difference between those rendered in Poweramp and standard gallery, tested build-922 Samsung@12. Try to reboot phone once? Also are you sure these images are loaded, not some downloaded similar ones? Note that selecting image via Menu / Album Art may reduce quality slightly due to the recompression.

I set my phone offline and cleared the album art cache. It's slowly reloading everything. It seems that the ones with odd resolutions might just take longer to render correctly. Edit: Some are blurry again after being clear while scrolling through them earlier. Not sure what the issue is. The phone is still offline. andrewilley
2 hours ago, maxmp said: Build 923: fixed issue with Volume Levels option and volume changing on some devices The earlier bug with non-resuming of playback when raising the volume again after it has initially been paused by lowering the level to zero still seems to be present in build 923. It only happens with a large number of volume steps enabled (e.g. 76 or 100) rather then default stepping. It seems to be caused by the pause mode being triggered by volume level 2 rather than only at 0 - so when raising the volume back up again, getting to volume=1 resumes playback as expected, but the next step to volume=2 pauses it again. Bencherished
Number of volume level, on my phone I see default, 30, 51, 76 and 101. I noticed it from build no 922, and it's also present in 923, It's not a problem just want to point it out. Also when I was on settings - Audio - Output - Hi-Res - Bluetooth - DVC for Bluetooth page, the volume was going back and forth. (press up or down volume continuesly)
Henderson Crowle
Tengo una gran duda, en la play store ya no me aparece la actualización beta de Poweramp, solo me aparece la versión lanzada oficialmente, tube que descargarme desde aquí para la nueva versión beta v923. Tampoco me aparece que soy verificador beta.

maxmp
@Bencherished number of levels actually should be +1 due to the 0 level being a level too. So we have 0-100 - 101 levels. May be this will be re-phrased, as 30/75/100 looks better to human eye.

There's space in the menu, why not list the volume ranges as "0-30", "0-75", "0-100" ? Andre
maxmp
@Ibrahimbo101 unfortunately this can't be reproduced on my test Samsung devices on Android 12 (including S10@Exynos). I test on default Poweramp (and system) settings, so it may be some option affecting this - so please backup Poweramp settings and send to gpmaxmpz@gmail.com. Does this happen for the specific song or all songs affected? What is the source of the song (sd card, internal memory)? Note that there can be a delay in notification update if image is downloaded at the moment (Poweramp will update notification only after download completes or fails).
