Noctali7
Hello everyone, new joiner here! I have recently changed phones (OnePlus 7 –> Nord 2) and I have noticed a new problem on Poweramp: whenever I increase or decrease volume, the music gets chappy/stuttery/gappy till the new volume level is set. I do not experience this with any other audio app. Any clue? Many thanks!
Solution andrewilley Posted November 25, 2021 Solution Share Posted November 25, 2021 Try increasing the audio buffer size. Also check DVC, you may find better results with it turned off. If you leave it on, ensure that 'Absolute Volume for Bluetooth' is turned OFF in your device's Settings > Developer Options. Andre
Noctali7
Thank you very much @andrewilley ! Deactivating DVC worked like a charm!
maxmp
@Noctali7 the ROM delays volume events for some reason, Poweramp DVC applies volume change with this delay, causing noticeable artifacts during volume change. Other than that there should not be any issues with the sound, but that delay can be fixed by OEM only.
