There are other issues too, such as the Artist tag's null separators being single zero bytes within an UTF-8 encoded data (should be two zero bytes not one). PA and MP3Tag coped, but my preferred TagScanner only saw the first artist name.

I would just make life easier for myself and stick with MP3/ID3 or FLAC/Vorbis tagging.

But your earlier post says you are using mp3 and wv formats…

Regardless, tagging needs to be consistent for any player(s) to be able to deal with your files accurately. As @andrewilley already suggested, the more common formats will lead to better results with Poweramp and all other players.
