I am in the process of having all of my music catalog uploaded to OneDrive, I really want to see Poweramp gain cloud music playing by connecting to Google Drive, OneDrive etc and play via the cloud.

There is already an API in place in Poweramp which would allow a third-party app to do this. But the Library-based design isn't so intuitively oriented towards a lot of non-local files that would all need validating and scanning for tags.

Are you able to share a third party app that you've seen do this successfully?

If you can map your external cloud storage to a valid Android filesystem symbolic link, PA ought to be able to see it. However as PA is a Library-based player, it would need to be able scan your entire cloud storage and confirm tags pretty-much every time a connection is made, and that could be time consuming.

@Casious This is already on the Frequently Requested Features list, but I don't think it's something that is likely to be implemented imminently as there are other things higher up the to-do list (e.g. better LRC support is the next thing I think).
