Scorpion
Hey guys. I have a small question related to id3 tagging.. All my music files have complete tags including album artist, composers and lyrics, except for comment field. So what exactly is the comment field used for? Should I write my own comment or do I need to search for the songs details on Google? Any details on this would be appreciated. Thank you. Quote Translate Revert translation? 6b6561
It's a free text field that you can use in any way that you want. I use it for album information, what type of album, whether it's a Live/Studio/Compilation album and number. My comment for the tracks on Genesis "We Can't Dance" album as an example "S14 - 1991", which reads as "Studio Album number 14 year 1991". Quote Translate Revert translation? Solution andrewilley Posted August 23, 2021 Solution Share Posted August 23, 2021 Yes, you can put anything you like in there, it's ignored by players. I've seen some songs that have things like their Chart history listed for example, or just personal notes about the song. Andre Quote Translate Revert translation?
