When song starts at beginning it is garbled for the first 4 to 6 seconds

Does this problem occur if you pause a track and wind back to 0:00 and start it playing again, or only when you first load the track (e.g. tap on it to start playing, or track-advance).

Do you have any crossfade options enabled, and/or a large buffer size? Have you tried different output methods in Settings > Audio > Output ?

This sounds like my issue but more of a play, pause, play, pause on mine. Mine was with disable absolute volume. I am not sure if you are using bluetooth or not.

@DC5fan is the issue reproducible on all output devices (speaker, BT, wired), or does it affect just (guessing) BT?

I fixed this myself. If I remember I went to "Preload Gapless Tracks" and to 2200ms. I t seemed to give me about 3 or 4 seconds between tracks.

Regarding my post on Aug 8 I have the 910 version, NOT 905.
