Separation of album and artist elements

so we can have player UI where there's both or either one (title & artist+album, title & artist, or title & album for whoever weirdo out there that use this)

You can hide either interface element (the Title line or the Artist-Album line) using some third-party skins. However you can't currently hide just the Artist or just the Album detail, as Poweramp generates them as a single string of text which skins can't then separate.

There have been regular requests over the years for the ability to customise the content of both of those two lines, such as this thread where I put forward the suggestion of providing formatting strings in each category's List Options (the current defaults being defined as "%title%" and "%artist% - %album%"):
