Poweramp fights with Soundcloud

Hi so I have an issue with Poweramp being used in android auto.

I use Poweramp to play music, but sometimes I also play music with soundcloud, and when I try to adjust the volume on my vehicle when playing music from soundcloud, the playback from soundcloud will cease and Poweramp will start playing music instead. What do I do about this?

Sounds like your device is still treating Poweramp as the current music player app, whereas Soundcloud should have requested that status. Are you running Android 11 any chance? You could try turning off PA Settings > Music > Keep Service, and see if that helps.

The recent remote commands received by Poweramp should be logged in PA Settings > Headset/Bluetooth > Last Processed Commands. See if PA was sent any button-style commands from Bluetooth via Android.

As a last resort, turn off the 'Resume on BT' and 'Respond to Buttons' features in PA Settings > Headset/Bluetooth.

Thanks, I have some time set aside this weekend to fiddle with it so I'll try that
