andrewilley Posted March 28, 2021 Share Posted March 28, 2021 In case anyone else has this issue and finds this post, on modern versions of Android you need to specifically allow access to your SD Card from within an app. On Android 10 or lower you can give permission to access the whole drive / SD Card, on Android 11+ you should assign permission to the overall folder that you want to use. This is an example for adding access to an external USB Drive on Android 10. Go to PA Settings > Library > Music Folders and 'enable' the drive you want to use: -------------------------------- ONE ------------------------------------- -------------------------------- TWO ------------------------------------- -------------------------------- THREE ------------------------------------- Once the above is done, you can go back into the Music Folders screen and tick the specific folders that you want Poweramp to scan for audio files.
