Markie78
Hi I'm wondering if there is a setting that will remember my songs and playlists, and after my phone restarts I open Poweramp and have no songs and have to do a rescan Paid full version of Poweramp Samsung s20+ android 11 (one ui 3.1} Thanks in advance
andrewilley
It's a Samsung Android 11 issue, which should hopefully be fixed when they next roll out a firmware update. You can try turning off all Auto-scan features in Poweramp in the meantime in Settings > Library > Scanner. Some further discussion of this and some related issues can be found at: Andre
maxmp
@andrewilley SD card slow mount issue or legacy access usage - discussed here: The issue is easily solvable by disabling legacy file access and reselecting Music Folders. The issue with buggy sd card is not solvable by the app though. Thanks!
andrewilley
That thread is the same issue that @Markie78 is describing, loss of all database contents and full rescan occurring when you first launch Poweramp any time after a reboot on some Android 11 devices (alongside the Legacy File Mode issue on firmware updates to 11). e.g. (The author of the above post reported that the issue was resolved for him after the device received a more recent Samsung Android 11 firmware update) Andre
