Jim Carr
I just switched from a iPhone to a Galaxy S20 FE and bought Poweramp to play my music. I used iTunes to record all of my music using apple lossles and was glad to see I do not have to change it. With iTunes I would see the album name and song title on my car radio but I do not see anything with Poweramp. Can I do something to see it? Thanks, Jim. Quote Translate Revert translation? maxmp
Poweramp provides all info to the OS. It generally should work OK for all players (or for none if something is wrong with pairing). On samsungs also album art for BT should be supported. Quote Translate Revert translation? andrewilley
You could also try changing the BT AVRCP profile in Android Developer Options, sometimes helps. 6b6561
I have a tune2air device in my car, it connects to the 30-pin iPod connector and emulates a iPod, works pretty well. The problem with this device is that it's only supports AVRCP 1.0 BlueTooth profile which only provides basic remote control commands (play/pause/stop, etc.), no meta data. The tune2air is also supporting some Apple BT proprietary profile which handles metadata. This leads to the same situation as Jim has, metadata is displayed using iStuff but not with Android.
